My first solo 16K run. I was used to having a running partner since the day that I started joining fun run that was why it was really hard for me to run solo. I spoke with Coach Eric Limatog, sharing with him all my running experiences, from my first run until the latest. I Told him that I wanted to move up. He told me that I needed to run solo because it's not all the time that I will have a running partner and plus I can do my own strategy and PR(Personal Record), and he was right. Yesterday(July 7, 2012) I did my first solo run for Pinoy Glory and it was for my first 16K! I couldn't imagine my self running solo and on a 16k category. Thanks to Coach Alan Choachuy who was there during my first 5k and to my Mom and Pocahontas(our helper) who was there to support me bringing coleman, food and a mat(as if nag picnic). I thank God for giving me all these people who supported me and made my first 16K run a memorable one. I had fought a good fight. I survived, SOLO.
